Who We Are
The Western Palm Beach Community Alliance was founded by a small group of residents from Arden in response to the proposed Project Tango development. As the issue emerged, many residents realized their community was largely left to navigate the challenge on its own. While organizations such as the Coalition of Boynton West Residential Associations (COBWRA) had long served communities within their coverage area, neighborhoods farther west had no similar regional network to help coordinate information or advocacy.
What initially felt like an isolated “Arden problem” quickly revealed a much larger issue: many western Palm Beach County communities were facing growth and development pressures without a unified voice or organized collaboration.
Determined not to face these challenges alone—and to ensure no other community would have to either—a handful of Arden residents came together to form the Western Palm Beach Community Alliance. What began as a small grassroots effort soon expanded beyond Arden as residents in other western communities recognized the same need for coordination and representation.
The Alliance quickly grew to include and advocate alongside communities across the western corridor, including The Acreage, Loxahatchee Groves, White Fences, Wellington, and other surrounding areas.
Today, the Western Palm Beach Community Alliance continues to serve as a collaborative platform connecting neighborhoods throughout western Palm Beach County. By sharing information, coordinating advocacy, and encouraging regional cooperation, the Alliance works to ensure that communities in the western part of the county have a strong and collective voice when facing issues that affect their future.
